Our editorial team recently joined the extended family of the Belega Village Government on their executive overland trip to Yogyakarta via the Gilimanuk-Ketapang ferry port. Traveling from November 30 to December 03, 2025, in the comfort of premium leg-rest buses, the group focused on a strategic comparative study at a village in Klaten to enhance their own village quality and service standards.

Beyond the official agenda, the group embraced the spiritual and scenic beauty of Central Java. They performed a profound Tirta Yatra (spiritual journey) at the majestic Prambanan Temple, finding a moment of sacred reflection amidst its historic spires. This balance of professional benchmarking and spiritual rejuvenation was further enriched by visits to Yogyakarta’s most captivating tourist spots, where the shared experiences strengthened the bonds within the village government.

The journey reached a special highlight during the return leg, as the group experienced a seamless multi-modal transition. They departed from Tugu Station in Yogyakarta by train, enjoying the scenic rail journey to Surabaya Pasar Turi, before continuing the final stretch back to Denpasar by bus.
